It’s moments like these that heal your soul, that remind you of how beautiful you are. You become a part of the beauty – you feel it go through your body. It’s as if you were but a skeleton… and the moment flowed through your bones. It’s moments like these that we question ourselves – who we are, why were are that way, why we do what we do, who we love and what we love about them. We need these beautiful moments to be a mirror to our soul. Without them consistently, it’s easy to get lost inside ourselves.

You can’t resist the Redwoods. It was even more surreal when Amos began reading the Confessions of St. Augustine.

Amos rode back to Portland with Ryan and Holly (music / words), I was able to see this beautiful view for but a moment:

Rachel (violinist) and Brittany get here tomorrow evening.
Non-stop creating going on here at the cabin -
I’m not even sure where to begin in telling you…
We’ve got quite the late night ahead of us.
And today marks the day:
Exactly a month ’til I leave for South Africa.
I’ve got a full schedule when I get home of work/shoots, fundraising and finishing this current project.
So much ahead, I feel like there’s not enough time to take it all in. It’s all happening so fast.

There hasn’t been too much time to write here – it’s been one thing after another.
I’ll eventually do more than just post photos and fill you in on some adventures we’ve been having.
