hush, hush
the winter birds are here
nestled, whistling, cooing
we are gathered together in our homes
remembering our blessings

my sister is near and dear to me.
she is growing in stature,
and in favor with God, and with man.
she is beautiful, and always inspires me -
just as west virginia does: wild and wonderful.

We’re taking these photographs in stages while I’m in town. The lighting will be lovely, inspiration will come and we’ll go venture out wherever we can. This is the first part of our “session” together, I’m sure : )
Contact me for your own session with me in lovely light.

My Aunt Jan is left of my Grandpa – Denzil.
My dearest Grandma, Elaine, right of my Grandpa.
My Parents, Before “I do” in the Garden
They’re currently still singing, and still together, and still… cute.

His sister, Clara, sparkled when he cared for her.
Next, [...]

The way that a woman walks with her child
In the hands that hold me now
The way that the colours splash ’round the neighborhood
It’s the smoky fog of the morning
The sound of a pencil creating a masterpiece
It’s the clouds that frame the sky
The look in your eye is your speaking voice [...]
